Hey guys.  I just had a terrible session at $5/10 NL and John has been on a really bad run at $10/20 NL, so I decided that we'd look over some HH's of recent losing play. Noel, we'll look over your recent big losing hands as well.

We've had some talk about changing the meeting day and time, but I want to hear from Reid before we make a decision.  I don't have his email so if anyone could give it to me, that would be great.

Let's plan on meeting at our normal day and time once again for this week.  Wednesday at 5:00 PM PST (7:00 PM CST).

I'd like to do an extensive HEM review of each group member's stats.  I think it would be fun to really dig deep into HEM and see if we can find some leaks.

I'll be online Wednesday night at our normal time.  I haven't spoke to most of you in a while, so I'm not sure if anyone will be able to make it or not.... I guess just be on Skype and AIM around 7:00 PM CST and if we have enough people online we'll do it, if not I guess it'll be scrapped again.

Hey everyone.  Our next meeting will be on Wednesday, October 29th at our normal time (5:00 PM PST, 7:00 PM Central, and 8:00 PM Eastern).

The topic will be "G-bucks", with the discussion being led by Reid.  Last week, Reid sent each of us a notepad file about "Galfond Dollars".  Everyone should read this file in its entirety before the meeting, so you are not completely lost.  If you lost this file email me or message me and I'll get it to you.

This should be an interesting change of pace for our meetings.  I'm curious to see how applicable this theory will be.  Hopefully we all can lean something new.

Hey everyone.  

For our next meeting, we plan on doing a HH review session.  Each member is to bring 3-5 hand histories to the meeting for discussion.  Pick hands that you botched, played well, or are just plain interesting.  Please have the HH's converted into a readable format.

Forrest may be joining us!!!  He's back from a 6 week break from poker.  I'm looking forward to having him join us once again.

Martin aka "DODGYKEN" has joined in the past couple meetings and has now become a member of Destined2pwn. He makes videos for Leggo Poker and is a very solid player who explains his thoughts well. He's decided to rough it out and stay awake for our weekly group sessions... it's probably like 4 AM or something crazy in the UK when we have our meetings, so it's pretty cool that he will be joining us.

Last week's meeting didn't occur due to John's internet going out. We're going to be watching his vid this week, however.

The meeting will be our normal day and time: Wednesday, September 24th at 5:00 PM PST (7:00 PM Central and 8:00 PM Eastern).

Congrats to John as when I talked to him earlier today he was having his best day ever online, up about $11k from playing $10/20 NL. Keep up the good work John!

Our next meeting is on Wednesday, September 17th at 5:00 PM PST (7:00 PM Central and 8:00 PM Eastern). We will be watching John play some 5/10 NL via video delay.

I'm sure John will have a lot to say about his play and maybe explain a bit more about some experimental flop and turn raising he's been trying out when he's in position. Hopefully Noel and I can help John find a few small leaks that he can sew up.

The group pairings are:

6 Max: John, Eric, Forrest, and Noel

HU: Ryan and Steve

Everyone is to pick a "regular" that they play with a bunch, gives you trouble, etc. then we will analyze their play and find their leaks... and figure out the best ways to exploit them.

Make sure that your "reg" has about 1.5k to 2k hands and has some hands that got to showdown where their cards were revealed.

The "reg CRUSHER" session last week went very well, and I'm looking forward to analyzing other regs this week.

Get ready for a "Reg CRUSHER" session!

Our next meeting will involve going over Holdem Manager or PT (whichever you use) and analyzing the play of regulars in your current game. You can pick whichever reg you choose, however I'd encourage you to pick someone that sometimes gives you trouble in your sessions, someone you play a ton of hands with, and try and avoid choosing a player that you already know how to play against.

We will split up into a 6 max group (Eric, John, Forrest, and Noel) and a HU group (Ryan and Steve).

Have the "reg" you want to analyze already picked before the meeting and make sure you have enough hands on him so that we can see a decent number big hands he's played that have made it to showdown. The main goal of analyzing the play of these regs isn't to say if they are "good or bad" but it is how can we counter their playing style to exploit them if we want to. We want to find out the best ways to neutralize these players and perhaps notice a big leak they have that we can exploit when playing them.

This meeting will take place this upcoming Wednesday, August 27th at 5:00 PM PST (7:00 PM Central and 8:00 PM Eastern).

The meeting for next Wednesday will be the same format as this week was. We will divide into the same two groups which are listed in the previous posting. John will make the vid for group #1 and I believe that Forrest will be recording a HU video for Ryan and Steve to review.
